Introduction

These Terms of Service (the "Terms") govern your use of the iOS application "LessonTree" (the "App") provided by Remosia Co., Ltd. ("we," "us," or "our"). By downloading, installing, or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not use the App.

Description of Service

The App is a lesson record management tool designed for private tutors and instructors. Key features include:

• Registering and managing student information
• Creating, editing, and viewing lesson records
• Data synchronization and backup via iCloud
• Reminder notifications
• Data export (CSV/JSON)

We may add, modify, or discontinue features at any time without prior notice.

Eligibility

To use the App, you must meet the following requirements:

• You must own an iPhone or iPad running iOS 17.0 or later
• You must be at least 13 years of age
• You must have a valid Apple ID

User Responsibilities

You are solely responsible for:

• The accuracy and lawfulness of all information you enter into the App, including student data
• Complying with applicable data protection and privacy laws with respect to any personal information you manage through the App
• Maintaining the security of your Apple ID and iCloud account
• Ensuring your use of the App does not infringe upon the rights of any third party

The App is intended to help you manage student information. When handling personal data belonging to your students, you must comply with the Act on the Protection of Personal Information and all other applicable laws and regulations.

Subscriptions

The App offers a free Basic plan and a paid Pro plan:

• The price of the Pro plan is as displayed on the App Store
• Subscription billing is processed through your Apple ID and will automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the renewal date
• You may cancel your subscription at any time through your App Store account settings
• Refunds for cancellations are subject to Apple Inc.'s refund policy
• After cancelling the Pro plan, you will retain access to Pro features until the end of the current billing period

Intellectual Property

All intellectual property rights in and to the App, including its software, design, logo, text, and other content, belong to us or to their respective rightful owners. The license granted under these Terms does not transfer any of those intellectual property rights to you. All data you enter into the App (such as student information and lesson records) remains your property.

Disclaimers

We are not liable for:

• Loss, leakage, or corruption of data arising from use of the App
• Failure of data synchronization due to iCloud service outages or interruptions
• Impact on App functionality caused by iOS updates or device malfunctions
• Temporary unavailability or interruption of the App
• Any issues arising from your handling of personal information through the App

The App is provided "as is" without any warranty of fitness for a particular purpose, completeness, or accuracy.

Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Japan. Any dispute arising in connection with your use of the App shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Tokyo District Court as the court of first instance.

Changes to These Terms

We may revise these Terms at any time. When we make material changes, we will notify you through the App or on our website. Your continued use of the App after the revised Terms take effect constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.
